Star Delta Starters
Our Star Delta Starters produce high torque per ampere of line current, and are primarily designed to control a three-phase induction motor.
They construction enables them to reduce the starting current of the motor without any external device or apparatus, with around a third of the inrush current compared to a Direct On Line starter.

Design
Seamless Process Automation star delta starters are supplied with a star contactor, a Delta contactor and a Line contactor with overload relays, Start & Stop push buttons. A pneumatic timer for the change over from Star to Delta is also provided. The change over from Star to Delta is by means of a very precise pneumatic time delay relay. This relay is adjustable from 0.1 to 30 sec. depending on your specific requirement. The timer is independent of the ambient temperature and therefore will provide precise change over time.
