Variable Speed Drive
Variable Speed Drive (VSD) is used to change speed of motor by the input voltage. It is used for both for AC and DC motors.
Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) is used to control speed by changing voltage and frequency, they are therefore used with AC motors
Seamless Process Automation Limited offer drives as wall mount, inside a control enclosure or mounted on free standing enclosure depending on the rating. These drives offer substantial savings in power consumption by optimizing motor torque and power depending on demand. Additionally, drives provide soft start functionality to protect transmission systems from sudden torque spikes on start-up.
